There’s nothing like tasty drinks to add a nice touch to your or your friend’s last party as a single woman.
Of course, no bartender is complete without their equipment, so make sure you’ve got your blender plugged in and your ice cubes ready and let’s get mixing!
If you prefer shaken cocktails, buying a good shaker makes the whole preparation faster and more enjoyable. Consider models that come with strainers, or make sure to get a separate one, as many drinks will require it.
Now that you have your appropriate bartender tools, let’s get to some recipes to liven up your bachelorette party and make it memorable.
Cute and Fancy Cocktails
For more sophisticated affairs, you can ditch the basics and be adventurous on your choice of drinks. There’s nothing wrong with having classic cocktails, but you can choose unique beverages for a more memorable event.
Whether you’re having a cute girl’s night party or a fine soirée, try one of these delightful concoctions to impress your friends.
Glamour Gal
If you wish for an extra fabulous drink, this is it. A citrus cocktail on a sugar-rimmed glass, it’s not complicated, and the results are stunning. It looks even more glamorous if you use pink sugar.
You’ll need:
- 2 oz vodka
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup or 1 tsp sugar
- A bit of crème de cassis
Fill a small dish with sugar and another with a bit of crème de cassis, dip the rim of a martini glass on the crème, and then on the sugar, rotating to cover the whole circumference. Combine the juices, syrup, and vodka with ice and shake, shake, shake! Strain into the glass and finish it with a drop of cassis.
Blushing Brides
Blushing Brides are easy to prepare but sophisticated. Made with champagne, they’re sparkling and fruity and are great for warmer days or more refined gatherings.
You’ll need:
- 1 oz fruit schnapps
- 1 oz grenadine
- 4 oz champagne
You can choose your favorite fruit schnapps, and all you have to do is pour it and the grenadine onto a champagne flute and top it with champagne. Voilà.
Sangria Swirled Frozen Margaritas
This simple yet delightful twist on the classical margaritas will get you a fabulous pink cocktail. It needs a few minutes of prep on the day before, but it’s quick and easy to make during the party.
You’ll need (for two glasses):
- 1 cup red wine, frozen in cubes
- A tablespoon of fresh lime juice
- Juice of half an orange
- 6 oz frozen limeade concentrate
- 2 shots tequila
- 2 shots triple sec
- A cup of ice
Start by rimming the glasses for a gorgeous presentation by dipping them in water or lime juice and covering the edges in salt or sugar. Blend the frozen lime concentrate with the tequila, a shot of triple sec, and ice until it’s slushy. Serve it but leave some extra room in the glasses for the sangria. Then, purée the frozen wine cubes with the other triple sec dose and the juices, swirl it into the glasses, and you’re done.
Looking to Spice Things Up?
It’s a single girl’s last party, so why not get a bit raunchy? Whether you’re having a strip party, bar night, or home gathering, suggestive cocktails are fun and add some sassiness to your event. It’s a bachelorette party, after all, so let yourself go wild and enjoy these sexy drinks.
Pink Panty Dropper
If you don’t want to take the time to prepare lots of drinks, making a punch is a fantastic alternative. They’re ready in mere minutes, and people can serve themselves, or you can pour glasses way faster than making more cocktails.
You’ll need (for 1.5 gallons):
- 24 oz vodka
- 12 12oz cans of beer
- 24 oz can pink lemonade concentrate
- Lemon slices
- Strawberry slices
Add the concentrate and vodka to the container and mix them. Then, add the rest, stir a bit more, and it’s ready to serve, quick and effortless as it can be.
Slippery Nipple
This one is for the daring. It should be downed without using your hands, at once, so the layers combine in your mouth for full flavor.
You’ll need:
- 1/2 oz of Sambuca
- 1/2 oz of Bailey
- Whipped cream
Pour Sambuca and gently layer the Baileys on top by drizzling it from the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon to avoid mixing them both. Add some whipped cream on top, and that’s your Slippery Nipple.
Slippery Dick
If you don’t like having a nipple in your mouth, you might have more fun with a Slippery Dick instead. It’s a layered drink as well, but with a completely different taste.
You’ll need:
- 1 oz amaretto
- 1 oz peppermint schnapps
Start by pouring the amaretto and gently layer the schnapps on top, using the back of a spoon to prevent them from mixing. It’s meant to be downed with no hands as a challenge, so try drinking it using only your mouth.
Between the Sheets
If the idea of having Sex on the Beach isn’t appealing to you, try doing it -we mean drinking- Between the Sheets.
You’ll need:
- 1 oz white rum
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz cognac
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- Crushed ice
- A slice of lemon (garnish)
Fill a cocktail shaker with the ingredients and shake it until it feels chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish it with the lemon slice.
Orgasm
After all these provocative drinks, this one only makes sense, right? This lusciously named shot is a creamy option to let loose.
You’ll need:
- 1/3 shot Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 1/3 shot Kahlua
- 1/3 shot Amaretto
Just shake it all with ice and strain into a shot glass, and you’ve got an Orgasm. It couldn’t be easier, right?
Take Away
You’ll undoubtedly impress your guests with any of these drinks. Just make sure to choose those that best fit the party’s tone, so things don’t get uncomfortable or weird. Downing Slippery Dicks can be a lot of fun in a bar or at home but wouldn’t feel right at a fancy dinner party.
Now that you have the drinks all set make sure to look up ideas for less conventional bachelorette parties. Some of these are a perfect fit for these cocktails and can make your event even more memorable to your guests and, more importantly, to yourself.
